He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Kekelis (nee O'Hair); parents, Pauline and Nick Timchenko; sister, Pauline Koscinsky; companion, Joan Dickey. Gene is survived by his fiance, Mary Jane Linsky and brother, Thomas Kekelis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday May 31, 2025 at 11 AM at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd. in Mentor. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, Ohio.
Friends may call on Saturday morning May 31 from 9-10:30 AM at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave. in Willoughby.
Contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org would be appreciated.
