Dan was born in Lawrence, Kansas, on November 19, 1939, to Dr. Eugene Daniel Liddy and Naoma M. Liddy, both of whom preceded him in death.
He is lovingly remembered by his sons, Dr. Michael M. Liddy and Jonathan A. Liddy (Erin), and his cherished grandchildren, Quinn and Lleyton Liddy, all of Sarasota.
Dan built a career in both marine and commercial lighting sales, traveling Florida's west coast for many years before his retirement. Known for his adventurous spirit, he once had a passion for skydiving and later found joy in Sports Car Club racing.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, located at 40 N Orange Ave, Sarasota, FL 34236.
Dan will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
