Eugene "Gene" W. Livesay "Jake" age 87 of Kingston passed away December 7, 2024. He served in the United States Air Force and retired as a professional photographer and Teamster. Born in Gate City, Virginia he has been a resident of Kingston Since 1986. Gene was a member and Past Master of Union Lodge #38 F. & A.M., Knoxville Scottish Rite and Kerbela Shriners Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his mother Viola M. Johnson Livesay, father Roscoe W. Livesay, sister Ruth Livesay Gates, and an unnamed infant brother.
He leaves behind his wife of 55 years Carol Green Livesay,
daughters Amy Sue Livesay Ingram (Thomas), Sheryl Lynn Coonce Mos (Ed),
grandchildren T.J. Ingram, Ryan Ingram (Rachel), Barron Mos, Katie Mos Cox (Tristan),
great grandchildren Haze, Oaklyn, and Avanell.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm Thursday, December 12, 2024 at the Kyker Funeral Home of Kingston. Masonic Memorial Service conducted by Union Lodge #38 will follow at 1:00 pm. Burial in Kingston Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to Shriners Children's Hospitals. Kyker Funeral Home of Kingston is serving the Livesay Family. www.kykerfuneralhomes.com
