Eugene Lorenzato,98, passed peacefully February 17th,2023, at his home in Manvel, Texas surrounded by his family. He was born on February 20th' 1924, in West Frankfort, Illinois. He was a resident of Manvel since age7. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Anita Americo Lorenzato, wife Margaret Lira, and infant son Eugene, Jr. He retired from Texaco and operated his own business for many years until retiring at the age of 88. He was an accomplished softball pitcher and accordion player. He enjoyed shuffleboard, reading and dominos. He loved watching baseball and Jeopardy. Mr. Lorenzato is survived by his four children Gloria Cloudt and husband Andy, Donna Brown, Anita Boyd and his son, Gary Lorenzato and his wife Ellen; his beloved grandchildren Katie Bryan, Christina Heileman, Krystal Kaplan and Chelsea Denson and their families. Special love and gratitude to Amy, Danny and Joyce, with Village Hospice, who became part of the family. Words cannot express everything they did for our dad and family. Eugene, now rests with Jesus our Lord and Savior. ln lieu of flowers, the family requests you consider a memorial donation to the charity of your choice, enjoy some ice cream as you ponder on the things you are thankful for, and perform an act of unknown kindness, trust in God's providence.
