My memories are of a quiet boy in school, well-behaved and polite to everyone. Have asked about Eugene through the years and never knew until now, he's lived in Holden. Never forgot him.

You are and always will be a part of me and Kendall Paul Kleinpeter. It was 2 of the most memorable years of my life. I will never forget your love for anything lemon, pineapple upside down cake, banana pudding and of course Blue Bell ice cream. It was my honor and privilege to have met you and to spend your last days here on earth with you. We will meet again. Thank you for the love, memories and blessings.
To your family; I take a part of him with me always and I appreciate everything you did for Kendall and I. I am truly humbled at your acceptance and allowing me to love/care for Mr. Gene.
