Mr. Eugene Phonchanh

Eugene Phonchanh, born in Scranton, PA, resided in Lowell, Massachusetts until his untimely passing on August 24, 2025, at Lahey Hospital in Burlington, MA. He was born on September 6, 1982, and leaves behind cherished memories in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He loved to travel and cook for his family and friends and his generous and kind hearted spirit was loved by many. Eugene is survived by his loving parents, his mother, Bouchanh and his father, Monthien Phonchanh, his eldest brother, Ohne Phonchanh, his brother, Saysamone Phonchanh and his sister, Jennifer Phonchanh and his beloved daughter, Mia, age 11. He will also be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. A viewing will be held at Fay McCabe Funeral Home, 105 Moore St, Lowell, MA 01852, Friday, September 5, 2025, from 4 until 7 PM. Traditional Buddhist Services will be held on Saturday morning, September 6, beginning at 7 AM from Fay McCabe Funeral Home followed by the funeral procession which will depart at 8:30 a.m. for Linwood Crematory, 41 John Ward Avenue, Haverhill, MA 01830.
