We are very sorry to hear about Uncle Gene's passing. The Shanbacker family made our childhood so much fun. Our best to Aunt Mayme and family!
We will never forget uncle Gene's love for lobster. Plus, when he came to New Hampshire he and my dad would go down the basement and shoot all the guns for hours. All of us love to listen to uncle Gene stories while your mom chuckled.

Sir,
I did not know you, however I would like to "Thank You" for your dedicated and honorable Military Service to our country. As a member of the "GREAT GENERATION" and a Marine of World War II; you are my HERO.
At a later date, I look forward to meeting you in that "SPECIAL PLACE" which GOD reserves for those who have served in uniform.
May ALL of GOD's Blessings fall upon your dear family!
