Eugene "Gene" Signori, a cherished husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away peacefully at his home on November 11, 2025.
He was born on August 1,1932 in Mattapan and was the youngest of nine children. Gene's life was marked by his dedication to his family and friends, his service to his country and community and his unwavering faith.
He attended Boston public schools. He proudly served in the Army from 1953 to 1955 as a corporal. He dedicated 35 years of hard work and skill with Salah and Pecci Construction Company as a laborer/carpenter then superintendent. After retiring from the Carpenters Union Gene continued to share his talents and know-how working at St. Gerard's Church in Canton before he fully embraced retirement.
Gene married his wife, Annette, in 1956 at Most Precious Blood Church in Hyde Park. They built a life together in the Canton home he crafted with his own hands, where they raised their four children. In 2001, they settled in Easton, their home until Annette's passing in 2013.
He generously gave his time to his church, the Knights of Columbus and the Sons of Italy and was especially beloved for his Italian dinners and surf-and-turf meals that he prepared for numerous fundraisers. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and family and shared his countless talents on projects small and large.
Beloved husband of Patricia (Brophy). Predeceased by his sons Richard and Jimmy. Devoted father of Steven Signori and his wife Joann of Stoughton, Thomas Signori of Easton, Daniel Signori and his wife Jackie of Easton, Janine Morley and her husband Dan of Easton. Brother of Carmela Kerrigan of Dedham and the late Primo, Mario, David Signori, Lena Sheridan, Sister Mary Angela, Anna Galante, and Joseph Signori. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
