Eugene Craig "Gene" Wilcox, born on May 3, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on July 10, 2024, in Pontiac, Michigan. He was 82 years old.
Gene devoted a significant portion of his life to the automotive industry, serving as a Foreman of Production Sheet Metal. His exemplary leadership and dedication to his profession earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and peers.
A proud patriot, Gene honorably served his country in the United States Army for three years. During his distinguished military career, he was a Heavy Weapons Infantryman, excelling as a Rifle Expert and AR Marksman. His commitment to duty and country was unwavering and truly commendable.
Gene was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria Wilcox, whose memory he cherished deeply.
Services to honor the life of Eugene Craig Wilcox will be held at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, July 15. Visitation will take place from 10:00-10:30 am, followed by an Honor Guard Service at 10:30 am. Entombment will occur at Michigan Memorial Park immediately following the Honor Guard Service.
