Eugenia Demos (née Colovos), age 95, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, in Naperville, Illinois. Born on August 9, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois, she lived a long and meaningful life rooted in love for her family and friends.

Eugenia is survived by her devoted husband, John Demos, and sons Dean (Beatrice) Demos, Peter (Mary) Demos, Mark (Laura) Demos, and James Demos; and grandchildren Christina (Tony) DeLuca, Stephanie Demos, Melanie (Nyatt) Demos, Alexander Demos, and Nicholas Demos. Great-grandchild, Santino DeLuca.

Devoted daughter of the late Peter S. and Irene Colovos. She was preceded in death by her brother, Soto Colovos, and her sister Dena Colovos.

Eugenia loved family gatherings centered around her Greek food, and will be remembered for her love of travel and sharp wit. Whether offering guidance or simply sharing time together, she created lasting memories that will be cherished by all who knew her. She loved keeping in touch with her relatives and friends, and enjoyed traveling around the world, including living in Japan, Italy, and Germany.

May Eugenia's memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A service will be held on August 8, 2025, 10:00 a.m., at St. Andrew's Greek Orthodox Church, 5649 N Sheridan Rd., Chicago, IL, followed by a brief memorial at 12:30 pm, at Elmwood Cemetery (Site 40A), 2905 N Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171.

In lieu of flowers, donations to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) of DuPage, 115 North County Farm Road, Wheaton, IL 60187, are appreciated.
