Graveside services for Mrs. Eula Rae Boyette will be held at 2:30PM, Friday, April 18, 2025, at Meridian Memorial Park with Reverend Scott Crenshaw officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Eula Boyette, age 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family. Eula was a loving and wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a big, kind heart and loved spending time with her family. Eula loved her kids and she was so proud of them.
Mrs. Eula was a licensed practical nurse for many years. She worked until she was 80 years old. She also worked in a nursing home for several years. Eula enjoyed being a nurse and enjoyed being around people.
Eula had many hobbies. She loved gardening, especially her flowers, and was an amazing cook. Her family enjoyed every meal she ever made.
If you knew Eula, you knew everyone she met loved her dearly. Eula was cared and loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Eula is survived by her children, Tommy Boyette, Don Boyette (Debbie), Darlene Grice, and Mike Boyette (Mary); grandchildren, Josh Boyette (Lashaye) and Jovonn Hill (Jennifer); great-grandchildren, Adalynn, Kaislee, Kyser, Sophia, Rowan, and Jacqueline; sister, Shirley McCollum; niece, Dorris Gonzalez (Henry), and nephew, Norris McCollum.
Mrs. Boyette is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Carl Boyette; father, Ray McKelvain; mother, Willie Mae Chambers, and step-father, Grady Chambers.
Pallbearers will be Glen Boyette, Josh Boyette, Jovonn Hill, Danny Ivy, Scott Crenshaw.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kyser Boyette and Rowan Seltzer-Hill.
The Boyette family would like to make a special "Thank you" to the Gentiva Hospice care and to our wonderful nurse, Cindy "Our Angel".
Visitation will be held from 12:30PM until 1:30PM at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home on Friday prior to the graveside services.
