Eula Faye Haley Holland, 84, of West Union, SC, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born September 8, 1940, in Oakway, SC, she was a daughter of the late Willie Christopher and Ruth Carter Haley. She was a 1957 graduate of Oakway High School in Oakway, SC, and retired from Walhalla First Baptist Church where she served as administrative assistant for many years. Eula was also formerly employed with Torrington in Walhalla, SC.
She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church where she served as church treasurer and was active in the WMU.
Eula was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her parents and four siblings: Coleman Haley, Arvil Haley, Lester Haley, and Maybelle Stephens.
Surviving are her daughters: Donna Foster (Lee) of Greenwood, SC; Rhonda Burroughs (Johnny) of Kingstree, SC; and Denise Cook (Jamey) of Greensboro, NC; three grandchildren: Cory Cook (fiancé Caitlin Crossett) of Asheville, NC; Haley Cook (fiancé Demetri Pataky) of Bolivia, NC; and John Davis Burroughs (Briana) of Turbeville, SC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1405 Ebenezer Rd., West Union, SC 29696, with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park, 1923 Blue Ridge Boulevard, Seneca, SC 29672.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, prior to the service, at Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Ebenezer Baptist Church: PO Box 130, West Union, SC 29696.
The family is at their respective homes.
