Mr. Owen Earl Floyd

Owen Earl Floyd, 95, husband of Martha Whitcomb Floyd, of Salem, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Lila Doyle Post Acute. Born in Tulsa, OK, Mr. Floyd was the son of the late Owen Earl Floyd, Sr., and Lilian Ericson Floyd. He graduated from DePaul University and was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. Mr. Floyd was a United States Army veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. After his honorable discharge, he was employed with and retired from GE, where he worked in computer management. In addition to his wife, Mr. Floyd is survived by his daughters: Laura Leber (Edmund) and Lucia Leber (Jonathan); sister: Nancy Morgan; grandchildren: Christina Leber, Timothy Leber, Greta Nisbet, and Nicole Leber; and great-grandchildren: Ellis Owen Nisbet and Elara Nesbit. In addition to his parents, Mr. Floyd was preceded in death by his brother: Robert Floyd. The family will hold a private service.
