Funeral services for Eula Russell Halbrooks, 79, of Hartselle will be Sunday, March 8, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Christ Fellowship Church with Rev. Danny Garrison officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Halbrooks, who died Thursday, March 5, 2015, at her residence, was born September 14, 1935, in Cullman County to Leroy Russell and Myrtle Mollie Lou Cook. She retired from working with the Housekkeeping Department at North Alabama Regional and Hartselle Hospitals. She was preceded in death her husband, Charles Halbrooks, and her parents.

Survivors include two sons, Harlon Halbrooks (Lisa) and Ronnie Halbrooks (Melissa); one daughter, Katrina Halbrooks Garrison (Danny); two brothers, Lelton Russell and Roy Russell; two sisters, Athelene Dukes and Mary Lou Steele; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Lee (Brandon), Josh Halbrooks (Charly), Tori Halbrooks, Katie Kichler (Wayne), Judd James, Elizabeth Halbrooks, Ron Halbrooks (Tracy),

Todd Garrison and Erica Gordon; and six great- grandchildren, Noah Lee, Mary B. Lee, Lollie Halbrooks, Barrett Halbrooks, Alison Kichler and Lincoln Gordon.

Pallbearers will be Todd Garrison, Ron Halbrooks, Josh Halbrooks, Judd James, Brandon Lee and Kenny McCormick.
