Eunice Denise Booker affectionately known as "Talibah" beloved daughter of Vernon and Betty (Rowe) Booker was born on September 4, 1965, in Farmville, Virginia.
She relocated to New Jersey, attending Paterson Catholic Regional High School and Eastside High School.
Eunice dedicated her whole life to caregiving, a true calling that reflected her warm nurturing spirit. Though she had no biological children, she raised and cared for many as her very own. Her love knew no bounds.
Talibah will be remembered as a true hustler, always "keeping it real," and a storyteller who held the family's history close. She was the heart of the kitchen, known for her mysterious down home style meals that brought everyone together. She was also an enthusiastic bingo player, traveler, and a devoted animal lover-especially of her beloved cat, "Sweetie". She lived her life with a free spirit and authenticity, her honesty was unmatched. Her laughter filled the room, and her food filled bellies while her love and care filled hearts. Talibah was a mother figure to many, a woman whose words were unfiltered, a nurturing and loving soul whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
On Wednesday September 3, 2025, Eunice departed this life at St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic, NJ. She was 59 years old.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Vernon and Betty (Rowe) Booker, sister; Vickie Booker, maternal grandparents; William (Alberta) Rowe, and paternal grandmother; Hildred (Lee) Arvine.
Eunice's legacy will live on through her sister; Dana (Booker) Cureton, brother-in-law; Earl Cureton, aunts; Clara Donnelly (Joe), and Lottie Miller, uncles; James Rowe (Patricia), Ralph Lee, June Lee (Jean), and Lorenzo Booker (Jennifer), nephew; Omaar Booker, nieces; Adrean Booker, Dasia (Cureton) Hocutt, Na'Asia, Ebony, and Betty (Booker) Johnson, great-nieces and great nephews; Syniah Warren, Autumn, and Khloe Booker, Kayden Hill, Logan Hocutt, Lauren, Laila, Zakaiya, Ameiya, Dantavious, Destiny, Ren'Aja, and Ke'on, and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Eunice will be lovingly remembered by many close friends who became family. You all know who you are, and your presence, love, and prayers are deeply appreciated.
