Eunice Smith Holley Passman

Eunice Smith Holley Passman, age 83, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024. 

She was born in Baxterville, MS and was a resident of Pumpkin Center, LA. She was a retired CNA. Eunice was known for being a very strong woman; having endured a lot in her 83 yrs. She was also known for being stubborn at times, doing things on her own terms. Most of all she was known for being a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great- great-grandmother. She spent her life worrying about and taking care of us all. She will always be remembered, loved and greatly missed. 

She is survived by daughters Elizabeth Hano, Jennifer Breaux (Daniel), Marie Bennett and Kathy Loper. Sons Joseph Holley and Donnie Passman, daughter in-law Cheryl Passman. Grandchildren Amanda Pinion (Frankie), Lonnie Hano (Mackenzie), Daniel Hano (Emmie), Martin and Matthew Adams, Cody Thompson (Helena), and Kyle Thompson (Layla). Great-grandchildren James Pinion (Diana); Sandra Dauzat (Gage); Laken Pinion; Douglas Hano; Dianna Mitchell; Nicholas, Madison, Natalie and Emily Hano, Chandler Woodruff, Aurora Hincks and soon to be born, Evelyn Thompson. She is also survived by numerous bonus grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by sisters Arlene Jenkins (Lester), Margaret Broussard and Myrtice Allulli and sister-in-law, Patsy Smith.

 She was preceded in death by her parents James and Hazel Smith; brothers Buddy and Lawrence Smith; sister, Charlene Hodges; husbands Oscar Holley Sr and Harold Don Passman; sons Oscar Holley Jr and Jerry Passman Sr; daughters Sandra and Cynthia Holley; daughter in-law Vanessa Passman and son in-law Joseph Bennett and grandson, Christopher Passman. 

She was grateful for the daily, loving care provided by her granddaughter, Amanda Pinion. 

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.

A Funeral Service will be held at Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Amite, Louisiana.
