Eva Maagero Obituary

Born in Leipzig, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Elsa Petersohn.
Eva was a caring and giving person, loved by all. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile for 42 years, and helped the Shriners Childrens Hospital in their mission. She was a long-time member of Foster Memorial Church, and was our Angel on earth.
Eva was predeceased by her beloved husband, Sverre Steve Maagero, and is survived by her adoring children, Karin & husband Don, and Ronald & fianc Alda, sisters-in-law, Jeanine, and Annelise & companion Ron, grandchildren, Mario, Monica & Kayla, two great-granddaughters, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends.
Family and friends are welcome to visit Friday, April 21, 9:00 a.m. at Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust Street in Springfield proceeding to Evas 11:00 a.m. Committal Service at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
Many thanks to all of Evas healthcare professionals who helped in her moments of need.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Springfield Shriners Hospital for Children.
