Eva Fran Madura, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025, surrounded by her family at her residence in Peabody, Massachusetts. Born on July 10, 1942, in Kansas City, Kansas, Eva's life was a tapestry of warmth, selflessness, and creativity, which touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Eva was a woman of many passions. Her love for painting was evident in the beautiful landscapes and still-life canvases that adorned the walls of her home and the homes of many who were lucky enough to receive one of her pieces. A skilled equestrian, Eva spent countless hours riding through the countryside, a testament to her adventurous spirit and love for animals. Her melodious voice was a gift she shared freely, enchanting listeners whenever she sang, whether at community gatherings or simply serenading her loved ones.
Eva's journey through life was shared with her beloved husband of 50 years, the late Jerome S. Madura, whose memory she cherished deeply. Together, they built a family foundation rooted in love, support, and joy. Her legacy continues through her devoted children: Michele, Michael, and Matthew, who each carry a spark of her gentle spirit. Her role as a grandmother was one of Eva's greatest joys, and she showered her grandsons Antonio, Gianni, Evan, Avery, and Owen with unconditional love and the wisdom of her experiences. She also leaves a sister Betty, brother Jim, many loving nieces and nephews from Missouri.
Those who knew Eva will remember her as the embodiment of love and kindness. She was a woman who placed others before herself, ensuring that anyone in her presence felt valued and heard. Her selflessness knew no bounds, and the impact of her generous spirit will be felt for generations to come.
As we say farewell to Eva, we celebrate a life lived with grace and a heart that gave so much. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the stories shared, the art she created, and the profound influence she had on her family and community. Eva's presence will be deeply missed, but the beauty of her life will continue to inspire all who had the honor of knowing her.
In honoring Eva's life, we reflect on the words of Helen Keller: "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose; all that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Eva Fran Madura will forever be a part of us, her love a guiding light that remains eternal.
A celebration of life will be held on a future date near Kansas City, Missouri with friends and Family. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Eva, please visit our Tree Store.
