Eva Jane Martin

Eva Jane Martin, 83, of Smithsburg, MD, passed peacefully, Monday, March 30, 2026, at her home.

Born Thursday, December 10, 1942, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Theodore Weagley Lehman and the late Ethel Mae (Showalter) Lehman.

Eva along with her husband Marlin were a longtime dairy farmers and bus drivers. Later in years they operated Martin's Catering. She also did bookkeeping and tax services for 50 years.She was a member of Salem Ridge Community Church, and a very active member of Gideon's International.

She is survived by her son, Kenlin A. (LoriBeth) Martin, daughter, Kaylena Y. Martin, son, Kevin B. Martin; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren with one on the way; brothers, Gerald R. Lehman, Galen Lehman, and Arlin Lehman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin Elwood Martin; son, Kraig E. Martin; sisters, Alice Rousch, and Mary Lois Martin.

Services will be held Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 3:00 pm, at the Salem Ridge Community Church, 411 Pensinger Road Greencastle, PA, with Pastor Brian Emery officiating.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the church.

Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
