Eva Delores Westbrooks 68 of Beaumont, TX; passed Jan. 17, 2026.

Services are as follows, a viewing will be held at Proctor's Mortuary 3522 Washington Blvd in Beaumont, Texas Friday, January 30, 2026, from 12am-1pm. Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Impact Ministries 4445 Perishing Street Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas. The viewing will start at 9:00am and the service will begin promptly at 11:00am.

Eva Westbrooks, 68, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026, surrounded by her devoted husband, children, and a host of loved ones.

Eva was born on August 4, 1957, to Autholia Westbrooks Sr. and Gertrude James. She was one of thirteen siblings and carried that deep sense of family with her throughout her life. Known for her vibrant spirit and generous heart, Eva was an active and beloved member of her community. She fed the homeless, helped anyone in need, and never hesitated to give of herself. Eva truly was the life of the party-always the first on the dance floor and the last to leave, spreading laughter, joy, and unforgettable energy wherever she went.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Autholia Westbrooks Sr. and Gertrude Westbrooks; her siblings: Faye Goode, Priscilla Bean, and Willie Westbrooks; and her beloved son: Damien Leger.

Eva leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband: Alfred Corbin Jr.; her brothers: Jackie Westbrooks (Roslyn), Earnest Westbrooks (Mary), Autholia Westbrooks Jr. (Michelle), Gregory Westbrooks (Amy). Sisters: Cynthia Samuel (Charles), Jeanne Westbrooks, Marguerite Harmon (Zera), Naomi Moss (Dayton), and Rachel Jones. Children: Tamisha Westbrooks, Ikeshia Westbrooks, Louis Leger III, Kenya Dodd (Corey Sr.), Michelle Corbin, Alfred Corbin III, and Alfredia Smith (Herman); 22 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Before her passing Eva accepted Jesus Christ into her life as her Lord and Savior.

Eva's affection, laughter, and unforgettable presence will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be missed beyond measure. As Eva would lovingly remind us in her own words:

"You done cried enough-go wash your face and put Vaseline on. You look dry."
