Evaliah Ovella Lopez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Evaliah Ovella Lopez, who left this world on September 7, 2025, at the tender age of 4. Evaliah was born on June 15, 2021, in Hendersonville, North Carolina. She brought immense joy and love to her family and all who knew her.

Evaliah passed away peacefully at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, North Carolina. During her brief yet beautiful life, she touched the hearts of many with her innocence and pure spirit. Her bright smile and sweet nature will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Evaliah is lovingly remembered by her mother, Destini Lopez, and her father, José Lopez. She will always remain in the heart of her sister, Aureliana Lopez. She is also survived by her cherished grandparents, Crystal and Calvin Michie, Sheila Hernandez, and Krystal Hernandez. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loved ones will forever hold her memory dear.

Throughout her life, Evaliah's family attended Upward Christian Fellowship and Hendersonville Church of God, where they found comfort and community.

A visitation for Evaliah will be held from 3:00 to 4:00 PM, followed by a service at 4:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor and celebrate the life of a precious soul who brought light into the lives of all who knew her.

Evaliah will forever be remembered with love and tenderness by her family and friends, whose lives she profoundly touched during her short time on earth. May her gentle spirit rest in eternal peace.
