Evan Cheatwood, age 57, of Huntington Beach, passed away peacefully on 2/13/2025. Evan is survived by his loving wife, Sheri; three daughters, Lindsay, Nicole, and Lindsey; and five grandchildren who brought him great joy. Born to Andrea and Harlin, and beloved by his older sister Juliea, Evan lived a life full of passion and dedication to the things he loved. Known for his sharp mind and quick wit, he was always someone you could count on for both insight and humor.
Throughout his life, Evan formed deep connections with many, whether through his career, friendships, or family. His presence was always felt, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know him.
Evan was known for his love of sports, especially his unwavering support for the Lakers, Broncos, and Yankees. A dog lover through and through, Evan's four-legged friends were an important part of his life. He also found joy in cooking for and introducing his grandchildren to new foods and loved making their favorite meals.
Evan had a deep connection with the beach, and his love for fishing was one of his greatest joys. Whether he was casting a line or simply soaking in the calm of the ocean, the beach was his place of peace.
A private memorial will be held to honor his life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Seal Beach Animal Care Center to honor his love of dogs and animals.
