Mr. Evan Merle Feiser, 60, of Funkstown, died early Wednesday morning, May 21, 2025, at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Hagerstown.
Born February 4, 1965, in Hagerstown, he was a son of C. Lee and Sonja Lou Jones Feiser, both of Funkstown. He attended South Hagerstown High School and graduated in 1984.
Evan worked for various local contractors and provided building maintenance for area apartment complexes. He worked last with Halfway Manor Apartments, Hagerstown.
He was raised in the Methodist Faith; but was currently attending a Baptist Church.
Evan was an avid camper, often enjoying trips to Barnum, West Virginia, with friends for some relaxation. Skilled in the contruction industry, he was quite the handy-man to help with matters at his family's trailer park, Funkstown. Also, he was an excellent gardner, showing he had a "green thumb" for vegetable gardening.
Evan, in addition to his parents, is survived by two children, Sonja and Schuyler Feiser, both of Funkstown; three grandsons; two brothers, Mark and Terry Feiser, both of Funkstown; and by a nephew and two nieces; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is assisting the family with private arrangements.
