Evan was born on January 4, 1960 in Provo to Keith V and Kirsten Inger Jensen Kofford. He grew up in Pleasant Grove and attended schools there.
He played the drums in high school and was a cheerleader. He worked in the radio industry as a DJ. He was known as "Evan Lake, the Water Man". Later in life he worked as a driver in the trucking industry.
Evan is survived by daughter Mysti and son-in-law Nick Degani, granddaughter Emily Degani, grandson Alexander Degani Washington D.C., daughter Cherron Kofford, Baltimore, Maryland, brother Don and sister-in-law Dena Kofford of Fruit Heights, Utah, Sister Benka and brother-in-law Todd Kerby, Pleasant Grove, Utah and step-mother, Verna Kofford, Pleasant Grove, Utah and many nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
In lieu of services there will be a gathering of family at the gravesite next summer.
