Evan Cole Michelman

Evan Cole Michelman, a student at the University of Southern California, died tragically on May 3, 2025, at the age of 21.
Evan is survived by his parents, Karen Meyer and Rick Michelman, his sister Rachel Michelman and his grandparents, Carolyn Meyer and John and Roberta Michelman. He is predeceased by his grandfather, William Meyer.
Evan was born on September 9, 2003, in Cincinnati, OH. From a very early age, he was an avid learner. He attended The Seven Hills School from preschool through high school and graduated in May 2022. His interest in math and science and his commitment to sustainability led him to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering at USC, where he excelled in his course work. He spent past summers working at 80 Acres Farms and at Michelman, utilizing his new skills, and Evan had volunteered for the Talbert House and Last Mile Food Rescue.
Evan was an incredible skier and enjoyed ski trips to Colorado and abroad, with family and friends. His joy of skiing led him to join the USC Ski Club and in his third year he served as the club Vice President. Evan also treasured his travels to explore this world with student groups, friends, and the yearly family trips. He enjoyed hiking and long bike rides.
Evan loved his life. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A funeral service in Evan's honor will take place Monday, May 12 at 11AM at Weil Kahn Funeral Home (8350 Cornell Rd. Cincinnati, OH. 45249) where guests will be received from 10AM until the time of service. A burial will follow immediately at United Jewish Cemetery Montgomery (7885 Ivygate Ln. Cincinnati, OH. 45242) Service will be LIVESTREAMED at https://webcast.funeralvue.com/events/embed_viewer/112374.
Shiva will observed from 5 to 7PM on Monday, May 12 at the Michelman residence.
