Eve Braidwood, born on December 15, 1932, in England, passed away at the age of 92 on March 28, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Eve moved to the United States in the 1950s, where she embarked on a fulfilling career, handling taxes and payroll for the military. Her work, especially her involvement with the Marine Corps, was a significant part of her life.
Eve was known for her remarkable personality; she was an amazing and knowledgeable woman who easily won the hearts of those around her. Her passions included activities related to the Marine Corps, such as Toys for Tots, which reflected her deep respect and affection for military service members.
She is survived by her loving family, including her two sons, Steve Braidwood of Louisiana, and a daughter, Eva. She also leaves behind her granddaughters, Danielle Robertson of Louisiana, Tiffany Hudson of Iowa, and Taylor Richman of Florida. Eve was preceded in death by her husband, William Braidwood, her sister Patricia, June, Berry, and her grandson, Stephen Bradley.
Eve's life was marked by her dedication to her family, her career, and her community. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her and will be sorely missed.
