Evelyn Virginia Clark

Mrs. Evelyn Virginia Clark, 88, of Jackson, SC, entered into rest October 21, 2025, at her home. Graveside Services will be conducted Saturday morning, October 25th, at 11 o'clock in Jackson Memorial Park with Rev. Chris Addy officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.
Evelyn was born on September 4, 1937, to the late Ollie Lee McDaniel, Sr. and Mary Frances Alexander McDaniel. She was raised in Ellenton, SC before moving to Jackson with her family. Evelyn graduated from Jackson High School and attended Jackson Bible Church. In her career, she was a bookkeeper for many years, retiring from Westinghouse at the Savannah River Site. Evelyn was a talented seamstress, who loved to sew, and she was a skilled baker, known for her delicious cakes.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Howell Clark; a brother, Ollie McDaniel, Jr.; three sisters, Gertrude Birch, Lucille Brewer, and Margaret McDaniel.
Surviving family members left to cherish her memory include her children, Michael Clark (Cindy); a daughter, Melissa Laurey (Mike); two grandchildren, Douglas Clark (Brittney) and Kelly Fincher (Aaron); two great-grandchildren, Richard Clark and William Clark; and a niece Linda Lewis.
