Evelyn Earley (Fusco) 97, of Cranston, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on Saturday November 16, 2024. She was born on May 16, 1927 and was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Earley Sr. for many years.
Evelyn was a devoted mother to Joseph Earley Jr. (Venus) of Charlestown, Rhode Island, and Sharon Reeves (Dennis) of Oakland, Maryland, and a cherished grandmother to Jared Earley (Erin) of Bristol RI, Shannon Iamarone (Scott) of Glocester RI, Ryan Earley of Old Saybrook CT, Bretton Earley and Arvi-Mae Delossantos of Charlestown, RI. She was a great- grandmother to Joseph and Ethan Earley, Marin, Gavin, and Mallory Iamarone.
Throughout her life, Evelyn was known for strong spirit and unwavering love for her family- especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always present for their needs and was integral in their upbringing. Some of her greatest memories were when she worked at the Outlet Department Store (her colleagues and the city atmosphere), being spoiled by her father (being the youngest daughter) and eventually being spoiled by her son Joseph (as he was the main caretaker since her husband's passing in 2002), and time spent in New Hampshire (at the camp in Meredith) and Maryland (visiting her daughter).
Evelyn's passing leaves a lasting void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know her.
Evelyn's funeral service will be held on Thursday November 21, 2024 at 10:30am in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery Exeter.
Evelyn will be deeply missed; however, she led a life free of pain and her family is blessed for such a peaceful passing and knows her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
