When Evelyn's mother Christine passed away she dropped out of school to help her dad with her younger siblings, Darrell and Wilma. In her younger days, she did part time work, mostly housekeeping. Evelyn met Ron Brave Hawk and this summer would have marked 48 years together. They were blessed with a son, Ron Jr.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, Ron Brave Hawk, Sr., her son, Ron Brave Hawk, Jr., her granddaughter, Veronica White Crane and a brother, Bryan (Connie) White Crane. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Tilden, Darrell, Curtis and Eldon White Crane, her sister, Wilma Red Nest and her great-granddaughter, Hazel Little Hoop-Catches.
A two-night wake service will begin on Thursday, July 6 at 3:00 p.m. at the Indian Mission Church of God. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 8 at 2:00 p.m. at the church with burial in the Alliance Cemetery.
