Pamela Sue (Rothwell) Arrants, 73, of Alliance, Nebraska, passed away on October 23, 2025.

Pam was born in Alliance on June 3, 1952, to William J. Rothwell and Shirley (Coleman) Rothwell. She grew up on the family ranch outside Hyannis, where she learned early the value of hard work, loyalty, and family. She graduated from Hyannis High School and carried the lessons of ranch life with her throughout her years.

After high school, Pam married Rick Arrants, and together they made their home in Alliance. She worked as a hairdresser for several years and was known for her steady hands, sharp humor, and the ability to make people feel comfortable just by being herself.

Pam's family was her greatest source of pride. She is survived by her husband, Rick; her sons Bill (Ashlynn), Joe (Danielle), and Ryan Arrants; her stepdaughters, Shari Walton and Tina Running Shield; and her grandchildren, Kiley Arrants, Taylynn Arrants, Zach Cordner, Jacob Arrants, Andrew Arrants, Timmy Bakkehaug, Mysti Running Shield, Tyger Running Shield, Austin Bordeaux, Brooklyn Bordeaux, and Seth Walton. She is also survived by her siblings Bob (Terry) Rothwell, Polly Rothwell, and Peggy (Matt) Jolovich, and by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, William J. and Shirley (Coleman) Rothwell; her brother, Bill Rothwell; her grandson, Zach Walton; and her loving parents-in-law, Bob and Gladys Arrants, who held a special place in her heart.

Pam had a lifelong love of animals, especially her dogs. Whether it was Molly, Sam, Coco, or the many others who shared her life over the years, they were her companions and brought her constant joy.

Pam's quiet strength, quick wit, and boundless love for her family and pets will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

"Let not your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many rooms… I go to prepare a place for you." - John 14:1–2

Those who loved Pam take comfort in believing she, too, has gone ahead to prepare a place - a warm, welcoming one - for the rest of us someday.

A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, October 30, at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Alliance, Nebraska. A lunch will follow at the church for family and friends to gather, share memories, and celebrate Pam's life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations in Pam's name be made to the Alliance Animal Shelter.
