Wayne Calvin Arrants, age 78 years, passed away peacefully at home in Delaware Township, NJ on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Born in Plainfield, NJ, December 22, 1946, he was the son of the late Arthur H. and Mary E. (Keiderling) Arrants. He grew up in Hillsborough, NJ, and had lived in serene Delaware Township, NJ since 2010. He was a beloved friend among his peers, known for his amiable nature and love of a cup of coffee and good conversation.
Wayne spent 35 years as a sign maker and co-owner of H.L. Arrants Company, a business which was originally established by his grandfather. His commitment to quality and service helped shape the company's reputation, and he was held in high regard by colleagues and clients alike.
He was known for his friendly disposition and made a lasting impression on everyone he met. A good friend to many, his warm spirit and kind-heartedness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his professional achievements, Wayne was passionate about various hobbies and interests. He found joy in fishing, boating, photography, and riding motorcycles, pursuits that connected him with nature and brought him immense fulfillment. He was a respected member and past board member of the Delaware River Shad Fishermen's Association, an organization dedicated to preserving local fishing traditions and resources.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Helene M. (Bauer) Arrants. Wayne's legacy of kindness and camaraderie will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those he touched throughout his life.
Arrangements and cremation services are private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
