Everett Dale King, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, in Hastings, Michigan. He was born on August 31, 1942, in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Leslie and Addie (Baum) King.

A proud graduate of Charlotte High School’s class of 1960, Everett carried with him the values learned during his formative years into every chapter of his life. He answered the call of duty by serving honorably in the Army National Guard, displaying the same commitment and discipline that characterized his career and personal life.

Everett's professional journey as a talented builder left a lasting impression. His hands created more than structures; they forged legacies that stand as a testament to his skill and work ethic. Those who knew him appreciated not only his craftsmanship but also his integrity and dependability.

Beyond his career, Everett found joy in the simple yet meaningful moments shared with his family. He cherished hunting expeditions with his boys, eagerly watched NASCAR races, and was a passionate supporter of the Oregon Ducks football team. He also enjoyed a spirited game of euchre with his buddies.

Above all, Everett adored his family. His pride in them was evident in every smile, story, and memory shared. Everett’s love and devotion remain a beacon of inspiration and warmth for all who had the privilege to know him.

Everett is survived by his children, Paul (Stephanie) King, Brian (Theresa) King, Adam (Rebecca) King, Alex (Harrison) Hale-King; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and his favorite sister, Mary Esther Binns.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In keeping with Everett's wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
