Everett "Tom" Thomas Morton, 77, of Salisbury passed away on September 14, 2025, at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional. Born on July 15, 1948, at Milford Memorial Hospital, he was the son of the late Everett Glen Morton and Dorothy Marie Taylor.

Tom graduated from Milford High School, class of 1967. He attended University of Delaware following graduation from high school. He entered the United States Army, where he served from 1968 to 1971 during the Vietnam War in the First Calvary Division. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Air Medal and Army Commendation Medal during his service. Following his honorable discharge, he was employed by E.I. Dupont in Seaford for 31 years. Everett was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and DAV.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Janice Marie Fazenbaker Morton of Salisbury; two sons, Scott Thomas Morton and his wife Kimberly, and Michael Lee Morton; a stepson, Christopher Sean Miller; a brother, Elwood Jeffrey Morton and his wife Krista; a brother-in-law, Ron Fazenbaker and his wife Cathy; four cousins, Danny and Doug Morton, Linda Johnson, and Wynita Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a cousin, William Taylor.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Tom would request that you donate to your favorite charity in his honor.
