Evon "Bonnie" Williams passed away peacefully on September 15, 2024 in Chapel
Hill, NC at the age of 52, from an extensive two week battle with pneumonia.
Evon is survived by her mother, Phyllis Butler of Hope Mills, NC; husband,
Anthony Williams of Fayetteville, NC; One Daughter, Tiara Lewis of Fayetteville,
NC; Three Siblings, Toboris Mcneill (Sabrina) of Parkton, NC, Benescha Sinclair
(Charles) of Fayetteville NC, and Shamar Mcneill (Tammy) of Fayetteville, NC;
Sister-in-law, Deidra Hadley (Kendrick); Brother-in-law, Michael Sinclair (Wanda);
Two God Daughters, Rihanna and Kezshyra; One adopted Brother, Carl L. Lewis,
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. She is
preceded in death by her father, John T.
Evon was born on April 20, 1972 in North Carolina to Phyllis and John T. She
graduated from Tar Heel High School, located in Tar Heel, NC in 1990.
Her family remembers her as a kind, gentle, patient, loving person who
encouraged them to pursue their goals.
Evon was passionate about bowling and often indulged in crafting. She was a
generous and dedicated individual who loved learning and who was skilled at
sewing. She was an active and devout member of the Living Life with Dialysis
Organization and often volunteered to the Angel Tree during Christmas.
Evon greatly appreciated the cards, calls, visits, messages, and prayers shared with
her during her illness. Each one made a difference and she and her family were
grateful for them.
