Ezra E. Spaur, 76, of Windham, OH, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025. He was born April 12, 1949, in Sutton, WV, to the late Kenneth and Vada (nee Quickle) Spaur.
He moved to Windham as a young boy, where he grew up. Ezra met the love of his life, Edna Della Penna, and they married and raised their family of 3 boys in his hometown. He was a dedicated employee at Cantex in Aurora, OH, until his retirement. Ezra enjoyed fishing, working on cars, gardening, being outside, rooting for (disappointedly) the Cleveland Browns, playing his weekly sibling card games, and above all, spending time with his family, who gave him pride and joy.
Ezra will forever be missed by his loving wife, Edna Spaur; children, Quentin (Glenna) Spaur, Eric (Linda) Spaur, and Jody Spaur; grandchildren, Brittany (Tim) Lawler, Sheree (Sean) Markle, Sterling Spaur, Storm Spaur, Christian Spaur, and Bailey Spaur; 9 great grandchildren; siblings, Eva (Denny) Wagner, Bonnie (Butch) Christy, Darlene (George) Carpenter, Connie Donham, Danny Spaur, and Robin (Michael) Goodrich, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Arlene Minnick.
Please join the family for a visitation Friday, July 18, 2025, 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231.
