Faith Matthis Obituary

Born May 17, 1941, in Parks Township, she is the daughter of the late Floyd and Mary Duerr Riggle.
Faith had been employed by Blue Cross Insurance prior to retiring in 2006 after 20 years of employment.
She was a member of St. Paul's Highfield Lutheran Church in Parks Township where she sang in the church choir and had enjoyed bowling in her Womens League for 40 years.
Survivors include two sons Ulrich Matthis III (Lisa) of Mooresville, NC and George Matthis of Parks Township. Her daughter Tina Cararie (Joe) of Washington, Pa. Two grandsons Ulrich Matthis IV and Michael Cararie.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband J. Ulrich Matthis along with several brothers and sisters.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4pm & 6-8pm in the DUNMIRE-KERR & ROWE FUNERAL HOME, INC. 244 Franklin Avenue, Vandergrift where services will be held Thursday at 10 am with Pastor Philip Ramstad officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
