Faith C. Parent

Faith C. (Kovitch) Parent, 84, of Burlington, widow of Theodore Parent, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025. Born on November 21, 1940 in Southington, CT, she was the daughter of the late Edward Kovitch and Mildred Saukitis-Kovitch. Faith was a loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her son Kevin J. Shortt of Thomaston, CT; her daughter and son-in-law Kelly L. and Scott Castle of Bristol, CT; two brothers and sisters-in-law Edward and Jeanette Kovitch of Wolcott, CT, and Richard and Carol Kovitch of Burlington, CT; four grandchildren Kevin, Ryan, Benjamin, and Alivia; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 22, at 10am at St. Joseph Church, 33 Queen St., Bristol. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
