Faris M. Karoue

A "gentleman of his time" Faris M. Karoue will be greatly missed by his friends and family. Born to the late Masid and Affeffe Karoue In Arne, Syria January 1,1939 - May 25, 2025. Studied business in Damascus and pursued his career in the States. His business flourished in Canton, he was the owner of Tower's Mens Wear in Downtown Canton and the Waterford Club. Known in Canton as a great businessman. Faris lived the "good" life, he enjoyed having a cigar with his friends and moved to Naples,Florida in the winter months to escape the cold in Ohio. He has been a resident in Naples since 1997. He enjoyed the warm weather in Florida along with the many friends he made there. Faris is survived by his lifelong companion of over 30 years, Linda Karman. Brother Eddie Karoue and Sherry Jacobs. Linda's children: Stephanie Russell (Mark), Michael Karman (Liz). Brother-in-Law Rafik Abou-Zakhim and Nephew David Abou-Zakhim, Nieces: Nour Kelly and Mary Abou-Zakhim. Faris is preceded in Death: Parents Masid and Afeffe Karoue, Brother Louie Karoue, and newly departed beloved sister Nour Abou-Zakhim. Calling hours will take place at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church on Cherry Ave. in Canton, Ohio on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 12-1pm, Funeral Services following. There will be a private burial at Forest Hill Mausoleum. The Very Reverend Father Michael Corbin, will officiate and in Lieu of flowers please make donations to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church or to a local charity. Memory Eternal
