Fawn Mills Obituary

Born in St. Joseph on November 15, 1949, Fawn was the daughter of the late Victor
and Loraine (Panser) Gitersonke. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1967
and married William Mills on January 31, 1981, in Buchanan, Michigan. Together, they
built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures.
Fawn was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband,
William; her daughters, Melinda (James) Yalowiz and Meghan Dellamaggiore; and her
cherished grandchildren, Vic, Kenny, and Florence. She was preceded in death by her
brother, Kenny Gitersonke.
Fawn found joy in caring for her family and was happiest when surrounded by those she
loved. She especially enjoyed traveling with William for his work, embracing each
journey with grace and curiosity. A former member of Christ Lutheran Church in
Stevensville, Fawn carried her faith quietly and sincerely.
Her warmth, kindness, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place and no services are planned.
