Warren Keith West, Sr., a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away at 3:04 pm on Sunday, August 31, 2025, in Corewell Health in St. Joseph, MI. Born on December 31, 1957, in St. Joseph, MI, Warren's life was a testament to his dedication to his family and his passion for his work and hobbies.
Warren grew up in a bustling household and was predeceased by his parents, William West, Sr. and Joann Pine, his sister, Debra Treat, and his brothers, John and William West, as well as two siblings who passed at birth. Despite these early losses, Warren's resilient spirit shone through in every aspect of his life. He found joy and solace in the company of his surviving brother, Walter West, with whom he shared many fond memories and life experiences.
On March 21, 1997, Warren married the love of his life, Marlene (Bybee), and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and mutual respect. Marlene survives him, as do their children, Matthew West, Matthew Foll, Justin West, and Warren West, Jr. Warren's legacy continues through his adored grandchildren, Jasper Foll and Hazel West, who brought immense joy and pride to his later years.
Warren's professional life was marked by his unwavering commitment to his work at Hoffman Diecast. His colleagues knew him as a man who was not only devoted to his craft but also a supportive and reliable team member. Warren's work ethic was unparalleled, and his contributions to the company were deeply valued.
Outside of work, Warren had a passion for working on cars. This hobby allowed him to express his creativity and mechanical prowess, often leading to him being the go-to person in the neighborhood for car repairs and advice. His garage was a hub of activity, where friends and family would gather to work on projects or simply enjoy Warren's company and expertise.
