Martha's early years were filled with the warmth of living on a farm with her siblings whom she loved and was a fond memory of hers. She enjoyed the farm lifestyle, with all its responsibilities and hard work. Even though they were separated, she was a wife as well to William Davis. She was a cherished sister to Jennifer (Mike) Ridge, Diane (Tino) Malvaso, Messilinia (Bruce) Lewis, Mindy Sanders, Jessica Pease, and her brothers Denver (Tonya) Pease II, Dwayne Pease, and the late G. Jack (Lisa) Pease. Martha's parents, who predeceased her, instilled in her the values of compassion and resilience.
She was a loving mother to her children, Matthew (April Barrett) Pease, Sherrie (Jake Diaz) Frantz, and Vanessa (Matthew) Cheney. Her stepchildren: Sharon Davis, Takeysha Davis and Melvin Allen, whom she cherished as well. Her role as a grandmother to Kelsi Simpson, Hayden Cheney, Landon Cheney, Blake Cheney, Sierra Pease, Mathew Jr. Pease, and Elijah Pease were one of her greatest joys. Martha's legacy continued to grow with the arrival of her great- grandchildren, Abby and Avery, who brought her immense happiness. Professionally, Martha dedicated her career to the healthcare industry, where she worked in homecare.
Martha's interests reflected her loving nature. She was an avid cat lover, finding solace in the company of her feline friends. Her love for Christian music was a source of inspiration and solace. Above all, Martha cherished the time spent with her family. Whether it was a simple family dinner, a holiday gathering, or a quiet moment shared with a loved one, these were the times that Martha
held dear. As we bid farewell to Martha Mildred Pease, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a heart generously shared. Her spirit will forever be a guiding light for her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Martha's journey on earth has ended, but her story of love and compassion will be told for generations to come.
In keeping with the family's wishes, no services will be held. Donations can be made to the Pet Refuge at 4626 S. Burnett Dr. South Bend, IN 46614. Palmer Funeral Home- Hoven Chapel is
