Fay L. MATTISON, 63, of Whitesville, NY, died Thursday, July 17, 2025 in the Comfort House of Allegany County, Wellsville.
Born October 7, 1961, in Corning, she was the daughter of Edward and Mildred Avery Newman. A graduate of Corning East High School, she was employed by Beef Haus, Truck-Lite, and most recently at Giant in Wellsville. Fay was a loving mother and grandmother. Everyone in the community enjoyed their time with her through the years.
Surviving are: two daughters, Helen (John) Davis of Whitesville and Ashley Mattison of Ulysses; seven grandchildren; a sister, Cheryl Houck of Pawpaw, WV; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and a brother, John Newman.
Burial will be in Whitesville Rural Cemetery.
