Fay Olson Obituary
Fay Lucille Olson (Clapp) was born on June 10, 1944, to Zola (Betchel) and Everett Clapp in Ames, Iowa.
Fay married Marly Olson on September 29, 1978, in Ames, Iowa. She was blessed with four children: Rick, Tammy, Justin and Kim.
Fay, in her younger years, loved old time country music and often times you could find her on the dance floor line dancing to all the great country songs of the 90's. Later in her years she loved crocheting, going to coffee with her friends or just sitting at home and doing word search. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandchildren.
Fay is survived by her children; Rick Brown of Alleman, Iowa, Tammy Brown of Ames, Justin (Niki) Olson of Ankeny and Kim (Aaron) Brown of Ames, and 11 grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Arzy Clapp. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Marly, her parents, two brothers Lyle Clapp and Garland Clapp as well as a sister Charlotte Davis.
Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada, has been entrusted with caring for Fay and her arrangements. Condolences may be shared online with the family at www.rasmussonfh.com.
