Mrs. Faye Campbell Berry

Faye Campbell Berry, age 97, peacefully passed away in her Faithful Beginning home in
Harvest, Alabama, on November 6, 2025. Faye was born on June 18, 1928, in Woodville,
Alabama. Her parents were Herman Campbell and Lexi Burkhalter Campbell. She grew up in Woodville, Alabama. She attended a year of college at Maryville College. On January 1, 1947 she married Charles Edward Berry and they remained married until his death in 1984. She moved to Scottsboro, Alabama with her husband where they raised four children – Patricia, Barry, Timmy and Robert. She resided in Scottsboro until 2024 when she moved to the Huntsville area to have help caring for herself.
She worked as a sales associate at Kmart. Outside of work, she enjoyed reading, cross-stitching, sewing, knitting, and spending time with family and friends. She was an active member of Scottsboro First United Methodist Church until she was unable to drive.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Berry (1984), her daughter, Patricia Berry Starling (2016), her grandson Justin Matthew Tyler (2022), her son, Timothy Edward Berry (2023), and her sister, Martha Nell Arnold (2024).
Faye is survived by her sons, Barry Charles Berry (Joan) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Robert Sherman Berry of Foley, Alabama; her grandchildren, Sherry Helton of Madison, Alabama, Jeri Starling of Whiting, Maine, Jane Starling of Carmel Valley, California, Amanda Medlin (Steve) of Hixson, Tennessee, Rebecca Berry of Jacksonville, Florida, Michael Berry of Ringgold, Georgia, and Graham Berry (Shelby) of Foley, Alabama; her great grandchildren, Alexis Bowen (Nicholas) of Holt, Michigan, Kaylee Helton of Madison, Alabama, Joseph Colantuono of Seattle, Washington, Liam Taylor of Saint Augustine, Florida, Ella Starling-Taylor of Saint Augustine, Florida, Campbell Hogan of Carmel Valley, California, Mason Hogan of Carmel Valley, California, Connor Medlin of Hixson, Tennessee, Mia Medlin of Hixson, Tennessee, Sawyer Medlin of Hixson, Tennessee, Gabriel Berry of Jacksonville, Florida, Maddox Berry of Ringgold, Georgia, Irelin Berry of Ringgold, Georgia, Lennox Berry of Ringgold, Georgia, Kaidence Tyler of Ardmore, Alabama, and Zoie Tyler of Ardmore, Alabama.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
