Faye Williams McDonald Dye, born on July 25, 1945, in Wrens, peacefully entered into her eternity on July 19, 2025, at Pruitt Health - Old Capitol in Louisville. She was a beloved figure in her community and cherished by her family, whose lives she enriched with her warmth and kindness.

Faye's most loved role in life was that of a homemaker, where she dedicated herself to creating a nurturing and loving environment for her family. Her infectious laughter and beautiful smile were testaments to her easy-going personality, as she embraced life with a tender, loving heart. In addition to her responsibilities at home, Faye worked over 15 years as a machine operator at Stapleton Garment Company, showcasing her strong work ethic and commitment to providing for her loved ones.

Education was important to Faye, as she was born and raised in Wrens and graduated from Wrens High School. Her journey in faith began early, as she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior, serving at Wrens Church of God. After her marriage to David in 1979, she joined the fellowship at Wrens Christian Fellowship (formerly known as Wrens United Methodist Church), where she remained a dedicated member until her health began to decline.

Faye's passions extended beyond her family life. She had a true love for people and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her hobbies included shopping, and she took pride in dressing well and maintaining a cherished collection of shoes. Faye had a special fondness for visiting flea markets and greatly enjoyed dining out at various restaurants, always with an appreciation for good food.

Faye leaves behind her devoted husband, David P. Dye; her daughter, Paula Kitchens; and her grandchildren, Amy Vrell (Jeff), Kendyl Key (Tyler), and Stephanie May (Mara). She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Kelsey Reeves, Khloe Reeves, Kenz Poss, Emmie Key, Chevy Key, and Gunner Key, as well as a great-great-granddaughter, Hadleigh Taylor. Her legacy of love will also continue through her extended family, church family, and friends, all of whom will forever treasure the memories they made with her.

She is preceded in death by her son, Andy McDonald, and her parents, Agnes Allen Williams Vincent and Andrew L. Williams.

A visitation in her honor will be held at James Funeral Home from 12:00 – 2:00 PM Thursday, July 24, 2025, followed by a funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ron Dixon officiating. She will be interred in the family plot at Wrens Memorial Cemetery.

Faye Williams Dye will be remembered as a vibrant soul who brought joy and love to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit will continue to shine through the lives she touched, reminding us of the beauty in love and kindness.
