FAYE MCGINNIS ROWE, age 87, of Jefferson City, TN passed away after an extended illness on October 11, 2024, at her home with her loving children by her side. She was a loving wife to her husband, Fred; mother; grandmother; and great- grandmother. She and Fred were married for 62 years before his passing in 2021. They  met in pharmacy school at The University of Tennessee, Memphis. They married soon after and raised 3 wonderful children first in Knoxville and then on to Jefferson City. She continued to work as a pharmacist until her retirement, and enjoyed knitting, playing bridge with her girlfriends and watching Perry Mason, crime shows and home improvement shows. She loved living on the lake and was glad to spend her remaining days at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband Freddie Gerald Rowe, her parents, William and Elizabeth Moore McGinnis, and sisters Wilma McGinnis and Billye Willette. She is survived by her children, Frank Rowe (Chris Kane), Dwain Rowe (Christina Coffman Rowe); Diane Rowe Bailey (Bill); grandchildren, Chelsea Sasaki (Dan), Cameron Froerer (Logan), John Rowe (Kristy), Andy Rowe (Kody), Brett Bailey (Ellen), Camille Davis (Al), Forrest York (Trey), and Macey Bailey; great-grandchildren, Brennen, Emmalynn, Jonah, Zoey, Landon, Kate Rose, Ty, Arielle, Carmello, Ryan, and Lawrence; younger sisters, Ann Rooker, Susan Buck, and Jane McGinnis-Glenn; and several nieces and nephews. Her family would like to thank her caregivers from Holly’s Angels who helped take care of her for the last year, as well as Amedisys Hospice. Friends may pay their respects at Farrar Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday October 15th.
