Feliks Marcinkiewicz Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Curlew Hills Memory Gardens Funeral Home on May 16, 2025.
In the tapestry of our mortal coil, a thread of great strength and vibrant color has reached its end. Feliks K Marcinkiewicz, known affectionately to kin and companions as Feliks, hath on the fourteenth day of May in the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty-five, taken his leave from this earthly realm, succumbing to the grievous siege of cancer. His departure from the stage of life leaves us bereft, yet rich in memories and legacy, as we recount the tale of a life lived with the fullness of heart and mirth.
Born in the country of Poland, Feliks, in the vigor of his youth, crossed the ocean with his family, seeking the promise of prosperity and hope in the United States of America. With hands that could shape the very earth, he toiled in the craft of construction, building not just edifices but the foundation of his future. It was amidst this labor that he, found his heart's counterpart, the fair Krystyna, with whom he would join in the sacred bond of matrimony. Together, they forged a path of love and enterprise, blessing the world with a son, Christopher, and daughters, Angela and Rachel.
The life of Feliks was as an open book, penned with the joy of his passions and pursuits. The roar of engines, the serenity of the waters, the thrill of the hunt, and the quiet contemplation by rod and reel – these were the pleasures that animated his spirit.
Feliks, with jest and wit at the ready, was a man of great humor, an embodiment of love, and a soul most spirited. His mirth was as infectious as the dawn's first light, and his love, a constant star in the night sky. To know Feliks was to be touched by a zest for life that knew no bounds, to be embraced by a love that sought no recompense, to be inspired by a spirit that could not be tamed.
In the hearts of his beloved surviving sister Wincenta, his son Christopher, his daughter Angela, and the multitude of souls whose lives he enriched, Feliks will forever dwell. He leaves behind not just a memory, but a legacy of laughter, love, and life lived fully.
Let us not don the robes of sorrow, but rather celebrate the story of Feliks K Marcinkiewicz, for he played his part upon life's stage with such fervor and grace that the echoes of his performance will resound through the ages. Though his mortal form hath returned to the dust whence it came, his spirit, like the phoenix, doth rise from the ashes, immortal in the annals of our hearts.
And so, we bid thee adieu, Feliks, thou man of jest and joy. Thy life's play was performed with a brilliance that shall never dim. Rest now in the hallowed halls of eternity, where the rivers run with the essence of bliss and the fields bloom with the flowers of serenity. Thou art, and always shalt be, the beloved star of thine own magnificent tale.
