Gerald Joseph Marcinkiewicz

Gerald Joseph Marcinkiewicz of St. Peters, MO passed away on September 13, 2025. He was born on April 1, 1940, in St. Louis, MO to the late Louis Joseph and Helen Ann Marcinkiewicz (nee: Kremski). Gerald had reached the age of 85 years.

Gerald was united in marriage to Pauline Caroline Kowalski on Oct. 5, 1963 at Saint Liborius Catholic Church - St. Louis Genealogical Society and they spent 61 wonderful years together. To this union, two children were born, Joseph and Paula.

Those who will remain grateful for having shared in Gerald's life are his beloved late wife, Pauline; his loving children, Joseph Gerald Marcinkiewicz, and Paula Louise (Donald) Stewart; his cherished grandchildren, Erica, Justin, Sophia, Adam, Katie, Viktor, and Viktoria; and his beautiful great-grandchildren, Isabella and Parker

Gerald was preceded in death by his wife Pauline and his parents, Louis and Helen Marcinkiewicz.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend of many.

Gerald enjoyed spending time with family and friends, in particular, his and his wife's All Saints Catholic Parish family, and of course his own family. He enjoyed going on family vacations and spending time in the vacation homes at the seaside with family until just a few years ago. He loved visiting Anna Maria Island and other locations with family. He enjoyed going on cruises, both Caribbean and even to Alaska. Gerald always enjoyed the family Christmas and Thanksgiving Celebrations each year. Gerald together with Pauline really enjoyed his trips to the UK, France, Belgium, Germany and even Poland in the mid 1990's when his son lived in the UK. Grandma Hellen and Grandpa Louis even participated in one of the trips. More recently in Summer of 2017, Pauline and Jerry spent a few weeks in Kyiv, Ukraine with Anna, Anna's family and Joseph having an amazing time seeing the beautiful Capital of Ukraine and spending time with Anna and her family.

A visitation for Gerald will be held from 4:00pm - 7:00pm on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles, MO 63304. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at All Saints Catholic Church, 7 McMenamy Rd, St Peters, MO 63376 followed by a luncheon at the Parish Center. Inurnment will take place at All Saints Catholic Church Columbarium on 11 October 2025 after 5pm Mass.
