Pauline Caroline Marcinkiewicz (nee: Kowalski) of St. Peters, MO passed away on October 7, 2024. She was born on May 4, 1943, in St. Louis, MO to the late Paul Peter and Sophie Dolores Kowalski (nee: Wojtkowski). Pauline had reached the age of 81 years.
Pauline was united in marriage to Gerald Joseph Marcinkiewicz on October 5, 1963, at Saint Liborius Catholic Church in Saint Louis, MO. They spent 61 wonderful years together. To this union, two children were born, Joseph and Paula.
Those who remain grateful for having shared Pauline's life are her beloved husband, Gerald; her loving children, Joseph Gerald Marcinkiewicz, and Paula Louise (Donald) Stewart; her cherished grandchildren, Erica, Justin, Sophia, Adam, Katie, Viktor, and Viktoria; and her beautiful great-grandchildren, Isabella and Parker.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Sophie Kowalski; and her brothers Sonny, Anthony (Bud), and Stephen Kowalski.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend of many.
Pauline enjoyed spending time with family and friends, particularly her sisters-in-law, her "Rockie" high school friends, her friends from Mallinckrodt, her All Saints Catholic Parish family, and most importantly, her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed going on family vacations any chance she had, whether it was camping with her daughter's family at the Meramec River or taking an extravagant vacation to Kyiv, Ukraine with her son's family; she really loved life, being together with family, and seeing everyone get along and be happy. She loved visiting Anna Maria Island, Florida and the beach with both of her children's families together. She enjoyed going on Caribbean and Alaskan cruises. Pauline also enjoyed her trip to the UK, France, Belgium, Germany, and Poland in the mid 1990's. Pauline was very dedicated to her faith. She prayed the rosary as often as she could and was an active parishioner of All Saints Catholic Parish for many years. Pauline was loved and cherished by many and will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
A visitation for Pauline will be held from 4:00pm - 7:00pm on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles, MO 63304.
