Wesley "Buzz" Gerber

1936 - 2026

Wesley "Buzz" Gerber of St. Charles Missouri passed away February 13. Buzz was born in Krakow, Missouri on April 2, 1936, the son of Berten and Luella Gerber. He graduated from University City High School. Buzz was a proud veteran of the US Army.He enjoyed 20 years of marriage to Joyce Priddle Gerber before his passing. He was a member of St. Louis Rotary Club and Engineers' Club of St. Louis, where he formed treasured friendships. He enjoyed golf and bowling and was a St. Louis Cardinals fan. Buzz is survived by his wife, Joyce, son, Wesley Gerber (Carolina), daughter, Kellie Martinez (Solomon), stepson, Kyle Priddle (Laura Leeker), siblings Phil Gerber (Kathy), Cathy Hemmer (Steve), 8 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.Buzz was preceded in death by his parents, Berten and Luella (Clark) Gerber, and siblings Martha Loveridge and Charlot Stille. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 21 at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral Home in St. Charles; visitation 10:00-12:00 with service at 12:00. A luncheon will follow the service. Memorials may be made to Rotary Club 11 St. Louis. Private burial will be held at Jefferson Barracks at a later date.
